Log Into Your Alibaba Account
- Visit the Alibaba website and click on the "Sign In" button located at the top right corner of the page.
- Enter your email and password, then click "Sign In" to access your account.
Navigate to Account Settings
- Once logged in, click on your profile icon, typically found at the top right corner.
- Select "My Account" from the dropdown menu to access your account overview page.
Select Membership Management
- On the account overview page, look for the "Membership" or "Account Management" section.
- Click on "Manage Membership" to proceed.
Request Account Deletion
- In the membership management section, you should find an option for "Close Account" or "Delete Account". Click this option.
- Follow the on-screen instructions, which might include confirming your decision to delete the account.
Provide Verification Details
- You may be prompted to provide additional verification, such as answering security questions or entering a code sent to your registered email or phone number.
- Complete the verification process as directed to confirm your identity.
Confirm Account Deletion
- After verification, you will be asked to confirm your account deletion request.
- Read any warnings or information provided about losing access to your account data, and then confirm your decision.
Check for Confirmation
- Once your request is processed, look for a confirmation email from Alibaba stating that your account has been deleted.
- Ensure you no longer have access to the account by attempting to log in. You should receive a notification that the account doesn't exist or is inactive.
