How to fix Kobo Clara not turning on?

Check the Power Button

• Ensure that you are pressing the power button firmly enough. Sometimes a gentle press may not be sufficient.

 

• Press and hold the power button for 10–15 seconds to see if the device turns on.

Charge the Device

• Connect your Kobo Clara to a charger and leave it charging for at least an hour.

 

• Use the original charger and USB cable if possible, as third-party chargers might not work as effectively.

 

• After an hour, try turning on the device again.

Perform a Soft Reset
