Ensure Bluetooth is Enabled
- Open the Bluetooth settings on your phone and make sure Bluetooth is turned on.
- On your Tag Heuer Connected watch, swipe down to access settings and verify that Bluetooth is also enabled there.
Restart Devices
- Restart your phone by turning it off and then back on.
- Similarly, restart your Tag Heuer Connected watch by holding down the power button and selecting the restart option.
Clear Bluetooth Cache (Android Only)
- Go to the settings on your phone, then find and tap 'Apps' or 'Applications'.
- Look for 'Bluetooth' in the app list. Tap on it, then select 'Storage'.
- Tap on 'Clear Cache' to remove any temporary files that could interfere with the pairing process.
Forget and Re-Pair
- In your phone's Bluetooth settings, find the Tag Heuer Connected device and select 'Forget' or 'Unpair'.
- On your watch, go to the Bluetooth settings and ensure it's in pairing mode. You might need to follow the initial setup instructions again to enable pairing mode.
- Try pairing the devices again by selecting your watch from the list of available devices on your phone.
Check for Software Updates
- On your phone, check for any available system updates in the settings and install them.
- Do the same on your Tag Heuer Connected watch by going into settings and looking for system updates.
Use the Companion App
- Download and install the official Tag Heuer Connected app from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store on your phone.
- Open the app and follow the onscreen instructions to connect your watch to your phone. The app often helps resolve common pairing issues.
Reset Your Watch
- If none of the above steps work, resetting your watch might help. Go into your watch's settings and find the option to 'Factory Reset'.
- After resetting, follow the initial setup process to pair your watch with your phone again. Be aware that this will erase all data from the watch.
