Diagnose the Wi-Fi Issue
- Verify that your Thermomix TM6 is within the Wi-Fi range of your router. Consider moving the device closer to the router to eliminate distance as a problem.
- Check if other devices, such as a smartphone or laptop, can connect to the Wi-Fi network to ensure that the network is working properly.
- Restart your Wi-Fi router. Sometimes a simple restart of the router can resolve connectivity issues.
Restart Thermomix TM6
- Press and hold the selector button on the TM6 until the device powers off. Wait a few seconds, then press the button again to turn it back on. Restarting the device can often resolve temporary glitches.
Check Wi-Fi Settings on Thermomix TM6
- From the main screen of the Thermomix, navigate to the settings by touching the three dots in the top right corner.
- Select 'Wi-Fi' from the list and check to see if your network appears in the available networks list.
- If it doesn’t show up, press 'Search' to refresh the list of available networks.
Reconnect to Wi-Fi Network
- If your network appears in the list, tap on it. You might need to enter the Wi-Fi password again. Double-check the password for accuracy, particularly for case sensitivity.
- If the network requires a Captive Portal (a webpage for login), follow the instructions provided by your network, typically accessing a browser on the Thermomix if applicable.
Update Software
- Go back to settings by pressing the three dots. Select ‘Settings’, and then ‘Version Information’ to check for software updates. Install any available updates as they may contain bug fixes for connectivity issues.
- Ensure the Thermomix is plugged in during the update process to avoid interruptions.
Check Router settings
- Ensure that your router is not using unusual settings such as hidden SSID or MAC address filtering, which might prevent the Thermomix from connecting.
- Consider resetting the router to factory settings if connection issues persist, but consult your internet service provider or router’s manual for guidance.
Seek Professional Help
- If the problem persists despite your efforts, contact Thermomix customer support. There might be an underlying hardware or software issue requiring a professional solution.
- Ensure you have details about the device's serial number and a description of the issue when contacting support to expedite assistance.
