- Start by unboxing your Garmin Vivomove device carefully. Check for all necessary components such as the watch itself, USB charging cable, and user guide.
- Connect the USB charging cable to a power source and attach the other end to the charging points on the watch. Let it charge until it reaches at least 50% for optimal setup and usage.
Download and Install Garmin Connect App
- On your smartphone, visit the App Store (for iOS devices) or Google Play Store (for Android devices).
- Search for the "Garmin Connect" app and download it. Once downloaded, install the app on your phone.
Create or Sign in to a Garmin Account
- If you already have a Garmin account, open the app and sign in using your credentials.
- If you're new to Garmin, tap on the "Create Account" option. Provide the necessary details, such as your email address, password, and any other required information. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete account creation.
Pair Your Vivomove with the App
- Once logged in, ensure your smartphone's Bluetooth is turned on.
- Open the Garmin Connect app, go to the menu and select "Garmin Devices."
- Select "Add Device" and follow the on-screen instructions. Your phone will search for the Vivomove watch.
- Select your Vivomove model from the options that appear, and confirm the pairing process by following the app's instructions.
