Download the Lyft App
- Go to your device's app store (Google Play Store for Android or Apple App Store for iOS).
- Search for the "Lyft" app using the search bar.
- Download the app by tapping on "Install" for Android or "Get" for iOS.
Open the Lyft App
- Once the app is installed, find the Lyft app icon on your home screen or app drawer.
- Tap on the Lyft app icon to open it.
Start the Registration Process
- When you first open the app, you'll be prompted to sign up or log in. Choose the "Sign Up" option.
- You can sign up using your phone number, Google account, Facebook account, or Apple ID. Select your preferred method.
Provide Personal Information
- If you sign up with your phone number, enter your phone number and tap "Next."
- Lyft will send a verification code to the number you provided. Enter the code to verify your account.
- Fill out your personal details such as your first and last name. These details will be visible to drivers.
Set Up a Payment Method
- After entering your personal details, the app will prompt you to add a payment method.
- You can use a credit card, debit card, or link your PayPal account.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to enter your payment details and ensure they are correct before proceeding.
Review and Accept Lyft's Terms
- Before completing your registration, you'll need to read and accept Lyft's terms and conditions.
- Take your time to go through these terms to understand the policies.
- Tap on "Accept" to continue.
Complete the Registration
- After completing all the previous steps, check if all the information entered is correct.
- Submit your registration by clicking on "Finish" or "Complete Sign Up."
Start Using Lyft
- After successfully creating your account, you can now request rides with Lyft.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to request your first ride and explore the features of the app.
