Check the Placement and Surface
- Ensure the QardioBase is on a flat, stable surface. An uneven surface can lead to incorrect weight readings.
- Avoid placing the scale on carpets or soft floors. This may cause inaccurate measurements.
Reset the Scale
- Turn over the scale and locate the reset button. Press and hold the reset button for a few seconds.
- Release the button, and let the scale reboot. This will often fix software glitches causing incorrect weight readings.
Check Your User Profile
- Ensure your personal data like height, age, and gender are correctly entered into the Qardio app.
- If multiple people are using the scale, make sure it recognizes the correct user profile before each weighing.
Update the Firmware
- Connect your QardioBase to the Qardio app and check for any available firmware updates.
- Keeping the firmware updated can fix bugs and improve reading accuracy.
Calibrate the Scale
- Turn off the scale and wait for a few seconds, then step on it briefly until it shows “0.0” and turn it back off. This can help recalibrate it.
- Do not move the scale when recalibrating to avoid interfering with the adjustment process.
Replace Batteries
- If the scale is showing inconsistent readings, try replacing the batteries with fresh ones.
- Low battery power can affect the performance of the scale.
