Connecting Amazon Echo to a New Wi-Fi Network
- First, place your Amazon Echo in setup mode. You do this by pressing the "Action" button, which is the button with a dot in the center. Hold it for about 5 seconds until the light ring turns orange.
- Open the Amazon Alexa app on your smartphone or tablet. Make sure your app is up-to-date to avoid compatibility issues.

- Once connected, the light ring on your Echo will turn blue, indicating it's ready for use.
Troubleshooting Tips
- If the Echo does not connect, ensure your mobile device is on the same network and close to the Echo during the setup process.
- Restart the Echo device and the router. Unplug the Echo, wait a few seconds, and then plug it back in. Do the same for the router.
- Check if the Wi-Fi password is correct. Incorrect passwords will stop the device from connecting.
- Place your Echo away from any potential interference like microwaves or metal objects.
