Calibrate Temperature Offset
- Open the Google Home app on your smartphone or tablet. Make sure it is connected to the same account as your Nest thermostat.
- Select your thermostat from the list of devices.
- Tap on Settings to access the thermostat settings menu.
- Look for an option called Temperature Calibration or Temperature Offset. This option may vary depending on the Nest model and firmware version.
- Adjust the temperature offset up or down to match your external thermometer reading. If your room thermometer reads 2 degrees higher than the Nest, set the offset to +2 degrees.
