Access the Ring App
- Open the Ring app on your smartphone or tablet. Ensure that you are logged in with your Ring account credentials.
- If you don't have the app, download it from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
Select the Device
- From the app's main dashboard, locate and tap on the "Devices" tab.
- Select the specific Ring Doorbell device whose chime volume you want to change.
Navigate to Chime Settings
- After selecting your device, find the "Device Settings" or a similar option within the device's menu.
- Look for an option labeled "Chime Tones" or "Alert Settings" which adjusts chime volume settings.
Adjust the Chime Volume
- In the Chime Settings menu, you should see a slider or volume control option.
- Move the slider left or right to decrease or increase the chime volume to your preference.
Test the New Chime Volume
- Once you've adjusted the volume, use the app to perform a test ring.
- Listen to the volume level to ensure it's set to your desired preference.
Save and Exit
- Make sure to save any changes you made within the app.
- Close the settings and exit the app if you are satisfied with the new chime volume.
