Getting Started with Apple HomePod Bedtime Story Scheduling
- Ensure that you have a compatible device with the Apple Home app installed, such as an iPhone or iPad, to set up and control your HomePod.
- Make sure your HomePod is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Apple device for seamless communication and control.
Create an Automation with the Home App
- Open the Home app on your Apple device. Find and tap the "Automation" tab at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap the '+' symbol in the upper right corner to create a new automation.
- Select "A Time of Day Occurs" as the trigger for your automation to make the HomePod play a bedtime story at a specific time.
Configure the Timing
- Choose your preferred time by scrolling through the hour and minute options. Set the time you want the story to begin every night.
- Select the repeat frequency, choosing from options like daily, weekdays, or specific days of the week, depending on how often you want the bedtime story to play.
Add the HomePod as the Accessory
- Continue by adding HomePod as the speaker that will play the story. Browse through available devices and select your HomePod.
