- Exclude unnecessary zones to reduce false alerts, such as busy streets or tree areas that might trigger motion detection.
Modify Video Settings
- You can adjust video quality, night vision settings, and more in the video settings.
- Higher quality settings use more data; adjust based on your internet bandwidth.
Check Firmware Updates
- Ensure your Ring Doorbell is running the latest firmware by checking for updates in the device health section.
- Updating the firmware can improve performance and security.
Save Your Changes
- After making the desired adjustments, ensure all changes are saved before exiting the settings menu.
- This step ensures that your updated settings are applied to the device.
Test Your Settings
- Once you have updated your settings, test the doorbell by pressing it or triggering the motion detection to verify everything functions correctly.
