Design and wear
Omi is a pebble about the width of a fingertip in a frosted white case. It hangs on a wheat chain, or pops into the wrist band; both come in the box. Fieldy comes with a pendant; its watch accessories are $19 extra.
Winner: Omi
Battery
Fieldy lists up to 7 days with typical use. Omi lasts 10 to 14 hours.
Winner: Fieldy
Languages
Fieldy lists 100+ languages. Omi supports 30+, one at a time.
Winner: Fieldy
AI and app connections
Omi connects to ChatGPT and Claude on every plan, so the assistant you already use knows what was said. Tasks go to Apple Reminders, Google Tasks, Todoist, ClickUp, Asana, Trello or Monday, and Google Calendar and Gmail sync on every plan. Fieldy lists a desktop app for online meetings; we didn't find ChatGPT, Claude or task app connections on its site.
Winner: Omi
Privacy
Omi is SOC 2 and HIPAA compliant, encrypts data in transit and at rest, and is open source, so anyone can check how it handles your data. Technical users can run it on their own servers. Fieldy says it's HIPAA compliant, with a BAA on orders of 20+ units.

What independent reviewers found about Fieldy
- We didn't find a full independent hands-on review of Fieldy 3 from a major publication as of November 2026. We'll add one when we do.
Where Omi falls short
- Battery is 10 to 14 hours, so it charges every night. Most rivals last days.
- Write-ups happen in the Omi app on your phone. Away from your phone, Omi stores audio and syncs it later (in beta).
- Listens for one language at a time, from 30+. English is the most accurate.
- The free plan's 300 minutes a month covers about 10 minutes a day. Wearing it all day means Plus or Pro.
