Resetting the Owlet Smart Sock
- Make sure your Smart Sock is charged. Connect it to the base station, and ensure the base station is connected to power.
- Locate the reset button on the base station. This is usually a small button located on the bottom or side of the base station.
- Press and hold the reset button for about 10-15 seconds until you see the base station's lights flash. This indicates that the Smart Sock has been reset.
Fix Common Issues After Reset
- If your Owlet Smart Sock isn't working as expected after a reset, make sure the sock is securely attached to your baby's foot and check that it fits properly.
- Verify the Owlet app on your smartphone is up to date. An outdated app may have compatibility issues with the sock or base station.
- Ensure your Wi-Fi connection is stable. A poor connection may prevent the sock from communicating with the app properly.
- Try restarting your base station. Unplug it from the power outlet for a few seconds, then plug it back in and wait for it to reconnect.
