Omi transcribes in more than 30 languages, and everything it captures stays under your control. Here's how to set your language and manage your data.

Supported languages

Bulgarian, Catalan, Chinese, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hindi, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Latvian, Lithuanian, Malay, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Spanish, Swedish, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian and Vietnamese.

English gives the most accurate transcripts. In other languages, Omi may occasionally miss a word.

One language at a time

Omi listens for one language at a time and can't switch on its own mid-conversation. If you move between languages during your day, change the language in Settings before the conversation starts.

Your data stays yours

  • Export it. On any plan, you can save, manage and export your recordings.
  • Delete it. Remove a single conversation or memory from its detail view, or wipe everything from Settings.
  • See how it works. Omi is open source, so anyone can check how it handles your data.

Connect the tools you use

In the Apps tab, you can turn on apps that change how your summaries are written, or send them to tools like Google Drive. Start with one, see how it fits your day, then add more.
